Religions’ Administration Anticipated Plan in the Second Half of March

After 53 days of re-arresting Mr. Peyman Fattahi (Master Iliya) and five members of Elyasin Community, waves of threats and trend of arbitrary actions against the community by Religions administration of [Iran] Intelligence Ministry have changed to a new figure:

- Mr. Farhad Moradi was beaten at Religions’ administration

After 40 days of being ignorant of Mr. Farhad Moradi’s situations, some pieces of information about him penetrated from prison. Religions administration interrogators frequently struck and kicked Mr. Moradi to achieve ordered confessions. They told him signing ordered confessions is his only option for freedom.

- Distorted Videos about Master Iliya

Mr. Farhadi informed about existence of fake videos and tapes about Master Iliya which are produced using film distortion methods. It is noteworthy to say that production of distorted films to destroy the character of Elyasin community leader and to alter his personality among his followers has been in the administration to-do list but the administration was unable to achieve this goal.

- Arrest of two other members of Elyasin community

Ms. Mitra Haji-Najafi (Spokesperson of Elyasin community inside Iran) and her son, Mr. Aliyar Nikfarman (council member of Professional Thinkers and Probers Association), were kidnapped in Tehran. Intelligence agents of Religions administration of Intelligence ministry arrested them on March 2, 2009 and moved them to an unknown location. The details on their arrest and the location where they are kept have not yet been available. As a result, the number of arrested members of Elyasin community since January 14, 2009 has increased to 11.

- Cruel acts of Religions’ administration against Elyasin members

In continuation of increased physical tortures and mental pressures against imprisoned members of Elyasin to make them sign ordered confessions and to commit forced obligations, Ms. Reyhaneh Abdolkarimi, who was arrested at a post office in Tehran, has been imprisoned for nine days in a cruel condition with handcuff and blindfolded. This is an obvious violation of human rights by the malicious intelligence administration.

- Recalling and interrogation of Mr. Peyman Fattahi’s wife (Ms. Shabab Hesami) in Revolution Court

Ms. Shabab Hesami (Peria), Mr. Peyman Fattahi’s young pregnant wife, was recalled to Revolution Court and was interrogated on March 4, 2009. Stated by the interrogators, her charges are some cliché allegations such as deceit, heresy, and insulting holy Islamic Republic system. The continuation of her interrogation was on March 7, 2009.

After the interrogation, the judge of the case met and informed her about other arrests of more Elyasin community members including Ms. Shabab Hesami, herself, imminently. It is noteworthy to say that the case officials had already spoken about scattering the community by any means possible.

Having several published books and articles, Ms. Shabab Hesami is one of outstanding writers of Elyasin community. In addition to her husband, her sister, Nazi Hesami, has also been imprisoned for more than fifty days at section 209 of Evin prison.

- Religions’ administration anticipated plan in the second half of March

Based on extensive threats of Religions administration interrogators and the judge of the case, it is anticipated that the administration will arrest Mr. Peyman Fattahi’s young pregnant wife and many other active members of the community before Iranian New Year (March 21) to suppress and scatter the 200000-member community of Elyasin as much as possible. The arrests will take place just before the New Year to prevent any chance for negotiations, investigations and informing public opinion because of national holidays situation. On the other hand, according to human rights activists, these suppressions and pressures will increase by getting closer to the presidential election days.

Dr. Abdolkarim Lahiji, vice president of the International Federation of Human Rights (FIDH) and the secretary of the Committee for Defense of Human Rights of Iran and Ms. Shirin Ebadi, the winner of 2003 Nobel Peace Prize, evaluated the situation of human rights in Iran at a meeting with Mr. Javier Solana, the Secretary-General of the Council of the European Union and the High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), on March 3, 2009.

According to Dr. Abdolkarim Lahiji, the pressures and acts regarding Mr. Peyman Fattahi and members of Ale-Yasin community (and examples of human rights violations regarding this community) by Religions administration of Iran ministry of intelligence were discussed extensively with Mr. Javier Solana. Moreover, the description of these items was reported as one of his general lecture axes.

According to European Foreign Policy website, this meeting took place in Brussels capital of Belgium.

Worsening repression of dissent as election approaches

February 2009

In the last three months, Amnesty International has received reports of waves of arbitrary arrests and harassment, directed particularly against members of Iran’s religious and ethnic minority communities, students, trade unionists and women’s rights activists. Amnesty International is aware of the apparent arbitrary arrest of, or other repressive measures taken against, over 220 individuals. Many of those arrested, if not all, are at risk of torture or other ill treatment. Other individuals arrested before this period have been sentenced to death. In addition, several newspapers have been closed down, and access to internet sites has been restricted, including some relating to human rights or which are operated by international broadcasters. These measures may in part be intended to stifle debate and to silence critics of the authorities in advance of the forthcoming presidential election in June 2009. All individuals and groups should be allowed to peacefully exercise their rights to freedom of expression, association and assembly, including in ways which dissent from state policies and practices, in the run-up to the presidential election.

Amnesty International has documented repeatedly how vaguely worded legislation is being used to silence the most active sectors of the Iranian population. Charges such as “acting against state security”, “spreading lies”,“propaganda against the system”, “creating unease in the public mind”, “insulting the holy sanctities” and “defamation of state officials” are used to target members of Iran’s religious and ethnic minorities as well as human rights and other civil society activists. Such laws and practices violate Iran’s obligations under Articles 18, 19, 21 and 22 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights regarding freedom of belief, expression, assembly and association.

Amnesty International is calling on the Iranian authorities to end such repressive measures and to uphold the rights to freedom of belief, expression, assembly and association. Vaguely-worded provisions in the legislation of Iran which are being used to restrict these essential freedoms should be repealed or reviewed to bring them in line with Iran’s obligations under international human rights law.

Anyone held as a prisoner of conscience, solely on account of their peaceful exercise of their rights to freedom of expression, association, or on account of their religious belief, should be released immediately and unconditionally. Others detained should be released unless they are to be promptly charged with a recognizably criminal offence and tried fairly. All detainees and prisoners should be protected from torture or other ill-treatment.

Amnesty International has not been permitted to visit Iran for first-hand investigation of the human rights situation there since shortly after the Islamic Revolution which took place 30 years ago. While Amnesty International was not always able to speak directly to, and collect testimonies from, the people subjected to human rights violations, whose cases are mentioned in this report, the details are consistent with known patterns of human rights violations in the country.

Restrictions on Freedom of Belief

Only three religious minorities – Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians – are allowed under Article 13 of Iran’s Constitution to practise their religious faith. By contrast, adherents of unrecognized religious groups such as Baha’is, the Ahl-e Haq and Mandaeans (Sabians), are not permitted freedom to practise their beliefs and are particularly at risk of discrimination or other violations of their internationally recognized human rights. Converts from Islam and evangelical Christians who proselytize are also subject to repression.

In addition, Sunni Muslims, who are mostly members of ethnic minorities, also face repression in connection with their religious beliefs. Shi’a Muslims who do not subscribe to the principle of Velayat-e Faqih,^¹the founding principle of the Islamic Republic of Iran, or who engage in religious practices frowned upon by the authorities, are also at risk of arbitrary arrest and other human rights violations in connection with their beliefs.

Al-e Yassin

Payman Fattahi, the leader of a group known as the Al-e Yassin^³ was arrested on 14 January 2009 after being summoned to an interrogation session at the Department for Dealing with Religions in the Ministry of Intelligence. Five of his followers – Nazi Hesami (f), Morteza Rasoulian, Sa’id Sourati, Hamid Sourati and Farhad Moradi - are said to have been arrested the following day. Three are known to have been taken to Section 209 of Evin Prison, which is under the control of the Ministry of Intelligence, but the whereabouts of Payman Fattahi, Farhad Moradi and Morteza Rasoulian remain unknown. Payman Fattahi had previously spent about five months in detention after his arrest in May, during which he was reportedly tortured and interrogated about a variety of alleged offences, including “acting against state security”, “establishing a sect”, and “promoting Christianity and atheism”^⁴. The group has also been vilified in state-owned press.

1 The political concept of the absolute authority of Velayat-e Faqih (leadership of the learned man) was developed by Ayatollah Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was enshrined as part of the Iranian Constitution adopted in 1979, which stated that overall political authority lies with the Leader, who must not only possess the requisite political capability to lead, but must also be a holy and pious man, as well as an expert in Islamic Law and a marja-ye taqlid - a religious source of emulation for his followers. A 1989 amendment to the Constitution dropped the requirement for the leader to be a marja, but greatly enhanced the political powers of the Leader.

2 Gonabadi Dervishes in Iran consider themselves to be Shi’a Muslims. Several prominent clerics in Iran have issued fatwas attacking Sufis. For example Ayatollah Lankarani said in 2006 that Sufis were “misleading Iranian youth” and that “any contact with them was forbidden”.

3 Al-e Yassin members describe the group as “an academic organization, formed from many different groups such as The Society of Professional Thinkers and Probers, the Al-e-Yassin Association of Interpreters, Writers and Instructors and the (Iranian) Nature Front Association”. They claim some of these publications have been forcibly closed, that books by the group’s leader have been banned and that websites are filtered and the members of society are called to the Ministry of Security and Intelligence of Iran, on a regular basis. The first Book by the Association for Defending Religious Minorities and Spiritual Movements

It will be presented to readers as soon as it is received.

Arrest of three more active lady members of Ale Yasin Society

Three more active lady members of Ale Yasin Society, namely Arezoo Ghanbari, Reyhaneh Abdolkarimi and Hoda Parvizi were arrested by Religions Administration of [Iran Ministry of] Intelligence and were sent to section 209 of the security prison on Tuesday, February 17, 2009.

Reportedly, these members were arrested at some post offices [in Tehran] by intelligence agents in a planned mission. Security agents also attacked houses of some other members such as Hasan Soltanali (Vassama Publications Director), Fariba Joneidi (Supervisor of the Research Group), and Morteza Rasoulian’s family members (Fatemeh Zandi and Ashraf Zandi) and investigated they houses.

On the other hand, the recalling waves of Ale-Yasin members to Intelligence Ministry Follow-ups Administration are continuing. Examples are recalling of Sara Yousefpour (Secretary of Thinkers and Probers professional association) and Mahshid Najafi, (Taalime Hagh Publications director).

Al Yasin Society in Iran Reported Detention of Its Leader and Number of Its Members

Payman Fatahi, also known as Master Ilya, is an individual who is referred as Master by the followers of Al Yasin Society. On January 4, when Mr. Fatahi appeared at the office of the Ministry of Intelligence to respond to some inquiries, he was apprehended and transferred to Evin Prison. Four others were also detained at the same time as Mr. Fatahi. Some reports indicated that the detained individuals have been mistreated and subjected to assaults by security agents at the Ministry.

The society followers also said that agents from the Ministry of Intelligence have routinely harassed some of their members.

Al Yasin Society

Although there is not much information available about the characteristics of this society, its members introduced the organization as one of the largest Non-Governmental Organizations in the Middle East. Followers, in their description of the Society stated:

“The Al Yasin Society is a cultural society that is formed from a collection of many other NGOs. The organizations that make up the Society include: Intellectual Organization, Interpreters Organization, Yasin Writers and Teachers Organization, Nature Front Organization (largest environmental entity in the Middle East), Steady Thinking and other similar publications, Yahou Publication institutions, Ham, Rights Teachings and many other similar cultural entities. The members of Al Yasin society are estimated to be somewhere between 140 and 160 thousand.”

So far, a number of publications affiliated with this society have been closed for their association with Mr. Fatahi (Master Ilya M), and other publications such as Movers, Spiritual Science, The Art of Higher Life and the Art of Living have been put under pressure by close monitoring of security forces.

Followers have also stated that many books composed by Master Ilya have been blocked by the Ministry of Guidance and have not been released for publication. The books were written by Master Ilya when he was between the ages of 12 and 33 and there are approximately 30 such books and their subject matters are focused on religious discussions and philosophical issues.

An Introduction of Payman Fatahi

According to followers of Payman Fatahi, those who know him across different social strata and in many different locations refer to him by different names. Some of these names have included: Payman Fatahi, Mohammad-Masih Mosavi, Koroush Aryanejad, Iliahou Hanavi and Davoud Abdullahi. In recent years, Mr. Fatahi has been known as Master Ilya M throughout a wider community and among his followers.

Mr. Fatahi is 35 years old, and he was detained by the Ministry of Intelligence in June of 2007 and kept in section 209 inside Evin Prison for six months, 150 days of which were spent in solitary confinement. During Mr. Fatahi’s detention period, he was subjected to 104 questioning sessions. Later, he was released from the prison conditionally. The conditions for his release included: censure from writing or conducting speeches and overall censure from any further cultural activities. He was also barred from leaving the country or making contacts with any of his previous students or contacting any other associated organizations.

Charges in Mr. Fatahi’s case included: dissension from religious dogma, conversion to Christianity and spreading Christianity, promoting pluralism and propagation of spiritualism, conspiracy against the Islamic regime, religious breakdown by attempting to link Islam, Christianity and Judaism, propagation of spiritual liberalism, insulting religious artifacts, propaganda against the regime and attempts against national security by promoting secret organizations and establishing Ilyaism.

Some believe that Mr. Fatahi has been subjected to both physical and psychological tortures during his detention in section 209 in Evin Prison, and the Ministry of Intelligence also pressured him to make a testimony via a television broadcast.

Mr. Fatahi’s family members have also been harassed and put under pressure by the Ministry of Intelligence.

The website belonging to his followers has made the following statement:

“We call him Master because he has masterfully engraved the path of a steady life in our minds and in our hearts. Steady life is a steady thought, steady speech and a steady deed. God-like and God-loving.

It was he who evoked faithfulness in our psyche. Because he has submitted and has become a servant of God. Because he is our educator and our Master and the smallest token between an educator and his pupils is faith.”

In an open letter distributed by Mr. Fatahi’s followers after his last year’s arrest, they said:

“From the age of 16, Ilya M, based on his research and observations in connection with aspects of soul-searching, spiritual science in the Quran and God’s word, and based on meaningful analysis and spiritualism derived from God’s word, made his mastery evident among a limited number of his pupils. These practical and theoretical trainings continued at this level for a number of years – at the age of 23, the first public speeches of Master Ilya M began in Tehran – the sessions were greeted with extraordinary enthusiasm among people, especially amongst the young, students, and those involved in writing, culture and thinking.

The popularity of these meetings grew so big that, after a short while, there was not a hall big enough in Tehran to contain all of the participants. As a result, the speech sessions were being repeated at different times via video or audio cassettes. Over the years, as a result of a widespread pressures and limitations by the office of anti-religion, the frequency of these speech sessions was reduced. Every now and then, a new attack by an Al-Qaeda-like culture and Taliban-like religion would take place, which were intended to keep a complete, continuous control over the culture and the religion for their usage as tools. Then, in one speech session held in Martyr Shiroodi stadium in Tehran, the first physical attack was committed against the Master, and with a brave defense shown by the people, the Master’s arrest plan was blown and was defeated on this day. After this incident, the wave of terror against the person and the character of Master Ilya M appeared in a new form, and attacks appeared in violent and Taliban-like press. According to the official Fars press, four large security and cultural organizations were commissioned to confront Master Ilya M, his followers and all spiritual activities. At this time, one ultra-conservative paper (possibly without awareness of its managing editor) in a number of very critical articles by agents in the office of anti-religion against Master Ilya, called for judicial and security authorities to stand against the Master. Coincidentally, the next speech session was planned to be held in the 100,000 person capacity Azadi Stadium, which was prevented by the authorities decisively. Gradually, confrontations began with a number of Master’s followers, ending with followers’ expulsions from governmental and quasi-governmental positions in the offices. Most of the publications, which were being managed by followers close to the Master and under his supervision, were closed or faced with new limitations. In a blink of an eye, publications including The Art of Steady Life, The Movers, The Art of Life and Science of Spiritualism were ordered to be shut down.”

In spite of many published reports about the arrest of followers in this Society, most of known social and political activists in Iran have expressed no knowledge about the existence and activities of this society.

Ilya followers have stated: “Presently, close to 40 of his (Ilya M) works, which are interpretations of his speeches, have been banned. The only work that has been published is related to his speeches made when he was 23 years old (11 years ago). Among these works, there are more than 200 research projects that were designed by Master Ilya M directly or through his interventions, and these works have also been censured”.

So far, one month since the arrest of Mr. Fatahi, there has not been any published report on his condition inside the prison

"It is a while that the news about human rights violations and putting pressures and limitations against political and social activists in Iran have increased and these news are published by persons or groups almost daily in personal, group or mass media.

“Ale Yasin community” and arrest of some of its active members in Iran is one of this sort of news. Master’s wife recalls to security ministry

Ms. Shabab Hesami, Master Iliya’s wife, is called to the following up department of security ministry by an aggressive telephone call on January 28, 2009. She had an illegal inquiry session there and was harshly threatened and asked to notice Master’s followers not to refer any authorities.

Moreover, the case prosecutor notified Ms. Hesami that a court will be organized for the case attested persons to try them in the charge of “cult establishment” in the next couple of months. It is perceived from his conversation that the religion’s administration will cover its lack of documents against Master Iliya by accusing him for moral charges as it has no document against him. It brings up the question that why the security ministry and its religion’s departments should audit moral charges.

Master’s students’ analysis is that the possibility for using fabricated witnesses and distorted films has increased to issue ordered verdicts against him.

Also, the illegal recalls of different groups of followers are being continued.

It is heard that the case prosecutor said: “we have no document against Ale Yasin community, however, we will scatter and destroy it by any means we can.”
Recently, a personal message from Mohammad Asgharinia to the Leader of Iran is published as a film for public in which falsehood, spying and personality destruction methods of the religions administration of security ministry and also its misuses of Islam are disclosed.
An article full of lies and untruth signed as “some damaged persons” is published in some extremist media recently. So, these media can be considered as the agent for publishing lies. It is possible that the letter is published to respond Ale Yasin’s extensive disclosures against the religions administration.

New recalls to the religion’s administration

Re-arrest of Mr. Peyman Fattahi and some active members of Ale-Yasin Society

Succeeding the recent arrest waves, Mr. Peyman Fattahi, the young leader of Ale-Yasin society, and four central members of this society were arrested on January 14 and 15, 2009 by the administration for restraining religions of [Iran] security ministry (called EBA in Iran). They were given no legal arrest order during their arrest and were moved to an un-defined location. No news is available about the arrests reason.
Mr. Peyman Fattahi’s was arrested and sent to prison when he went to the administration for restraining religions for a routine inquiry session. He had been called for routine inquiry sessions after his conditional release from section 209 of Evin prison in fall 2007.
According to the news, the other arrested people, who are students of Master Ilia (Peyman Fattahi) are as follows:
1. Ms. Nazi Hesami, writer, researcher and conceptual advisor for publication and one of editors-in-chief for “The Living Arts” magazine,
2. Mr. Morteza Rasoulian, a senior supervisor of Ale-Yasin society,
3. Mr. Saeed Sourati, instructor of The Professional Management research group, member of Iranian Researchers and Probers association, and an activist at The Motivators, the suspended magazine,
4. And Mr. Hamid Sourati, an active member of Ale-Yasin society.
Currently, the callings and inquiry sessions at the administration are still continuing for the society members.
Last year also, some members of Ale-Yasin community including Master Ilia (Peyman Fattahi), its conductor, were arrested by the above mentioned administration. It was according to the decision and will of some principal religious authorities. The members were released after long captivities with heavy security deposits and being borne various physical and mental tortures. Mr. Peyman Fattahi, who entered the prison perfectly healthy, released with dubious symptoms of poisoning including nose and ears bleeding and abdominal hemorrhage, after bearing six months of captivity, five months of which were spent in an isolated cell.
The charges for Mr. Peyman Fattahi were stated to be: struggling against national security, opposition against the system, objection against Islam, establishing a sect, persuasion for Christianity, persuasion for ideology without religion and many other common charges. None of these charges is proven now, after more than one year since his captivity and after years of spying and intelligence gathering, as the security ministry officials admitted. Court did not accept to issue a verdict for his case because the shortage for documentation and witnesses.
In an inquiry session in October, 2008, the officers of the administration for restraining religions attacked Mr. Peyman Fattahi by baton, teaser gun and heavy kicks and punches because of a letter sent by a society member to the leader of Islamic Republic of Iran which explained injustice and unfairness that Ale-Yasin community had been suffered from. The attacks resulted re-appearance of his dubious diseases from his captivity and ended up with his hospitalization.
Having more than 160,000 members, Ale-Yasin society is a cultural and contemplative community which performs in various fields of planning and thinking, cultural activities, book and magazine publication, spiritual science, environmental protection, etc.
After governance of the ninth Cabinet and dominance of religious fanatics in Iran, violent and hostile assaults increased against this community which led to arrest waves of 2007. Lots of the community’s published books were confiscated and collected from [Iranian] book market. Also, the permit for four publications of this cultural- contemplative community is reported to be canceled giving no evident reason. Number of Master Ilia’s works, which could not receive a publication permit because of the recent conflicts, reaches up to 40, all of which were confiscated during his home inspection. Furthermore, 200 research projects which were conducting by this young intellectual are under confiscation of the administration. On the other hand, the destruction of his personality and popularity were extensively carried and carrying out by radio and TV programs, newspapers and magazines, websites, blogs and published books. After the recent arrests and according to past records of the arresting administration, new types of attacks through mass media and lecterns, making false witnesses to prove the members charges especially Mr. Peyman Fattahi’s, putting increasing pressures and tortures to present ordered confessions and forcing to perform ordered insane actions or arranging superficial evens and accidents are not unexpected.
Abroad organization of Ale-Yasin strongly condemns the new attacks to the members of this community and is asking to release the arrested members quickly especially because these attacks carried out when public thoughts focused at the current Gaza events and reduction of public attentions to violating human rights in Iran.
Obviously, this community will make use of its all capacities and features to administer justice for its young leader and its members.

The Assaults on Ale-Yasin's Young Leader

Ale-Yasin Society informed about assaulting its leader in a manifesto. The manifesto says:

Ilia M. (Peyman Fattahi), the intellectual, theoretician, and conducting superintendent of Ale-Yasin Society was attacked and assaulted by officers of the religion department of [Iran] security ministry in last October. He severely injured after when he was called to the religion department (which is also called religions’ administration, anti-religions and spiritual movements’ administration, or EBA [Persian abbreviation]). The reason for this behavior was aconfidential letter written to the [supreme] leader.

Last year, he [Ilia M.] was released from the security section No. 209 of Evin prison after six months of captivity, constrained to some strict restrictions. It is told that he had been called to security ministry for thirty times after his captivity and was [attacked and] hospitalized after his last two inquiry sessions. It is worthy to mention that he was affected by some dubious physical diseases after his captivity, some of which has presently remained.

At the end of this manifesto is noted:

Having more than 160,000 members, Ale-Yasin Society is the largest N.G.O [Non-Governmental Organization] in the Middle East, consisting of several cultural institutes, associations, NGOs, magazines, and publications.

The major activities of this community are told to be cultural, researching and probing activities in various fields. According to the directions of the administration, four society magazines, namely The Art of Divine Living, The Motivators, Esoteric Science, and The Arts of Living, and also some cultural institutes of the Society were suspended with no court trial or justified reason and the rest are being forced to close down. Senior members of the Community were encountered frequent callings to security ministry, some of whom became imprisoned at section 209 of Evin prison with no defined accusation and the Society were media invaded extensively. The spokesman of the community said the society of Ale-Yasin lost support of authorities because of the distorted destructive bulletins, published by the Anti-Religions administration, included altered films and pictures of documents and personal and familial correspondences, taken by spying cameras. Moreover, some supporting authorities were threatened by the administration. Senior members of the community also lost their personal and social security as a result of audio devices placed at their homes and being chased by the administration officers.

Anti-religion administration has noticed that the conditions not to issue execution verdicts for some followers and acquaintances of “Ilia” (the 35-year old leader of Ale-Yasin) are:

To record an ordered-fabricated confessional film of him to deny his outcomes and abilities,

To break off all kinds of connections with mass media and human rights centers,

Society senior members not to meet authorities,

To criticize his own book,

To disorganize and terminate the society.

Presently, about 40 works of Ilia “M.” and about 200 of his research projects are confiscated by this administration. Also his and his wife’s published books are collected away from market despite their permit from [Iran] ministry of Guidance.

It is worthy to say that in aiming at his incrimination, Peyman Fattahi’s wife, relatives and acquaintances have been frequently called and threatened by anti-religions administration and some of them have been imprisoned. An instance is imprisoning of his brother, Ramin Fattahi, in section 209 who hospitalized in Evin prison hospital for a dubious disease and passed away after a short period of time after he imprisoned at section 209.

According to Fars Press, the administration for restraining religions and spiritual movements is an administration consisted of four big security -cultural administrations.

According to extant documents, a huge amount of money has been spent to ruin Ilia M.’s personality and Ale-Yasin society. Some examples in case are:

Broadcasting distorted news and assaulting articles in blogs and websites which were established for this reason and also in Keyhan and Jamejam newspapers (“The fallacious way” [or “Kaj rahe” in Persian] was a special free edition of Jamejam, in high quality papers and numerous copies, published against Ilia and Ale-Yasin community),
Making [and broadcasting] TV series such as “Coma” [or “Eghma” in Persian],
Performing ordered discussions on radio and television such as a TV program called “These days” broadcast this year during the month of Ramazan [in Iran]. In this program, an old member of Islamic guidance organisation, who has been famous for tormenting people, speaks in the counterfeit title of “Engineer Behzad Niloufari” as a researcher. He tries to exchange the name of Ale Yasin society with Yasin “super sect” by referring to a book called “Cults Among Us” written by Margaret Thaler Singer et al. With an evident distortion in this program, all researches of this Lady are attributed to this person and his knowledge.
Presenting speeches and interfering prelates,
Distribution of bulletins full of fabrications and distortions among country officials and authorities and ordinary people,
And extended recalling for attracting private complainants.
